The Camino Real de Tierra Adentro is considered the oldest in our continent with an approximate extension of 2900 kilometers, even if it is not a linear route, but an entire area of influence. It was traced by the Spanish conquerors on continental land, probably on roads that were already used by the natives of these lands, departed from the Plaza de Santo Domingo in Mexico City and came to an end in the City of Santa Fe in the distant New Mexico, passing through the States of Mexico, Hidalgo, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Aguascalientes, Zacatecas, Durango and Chihuahua.
